It was a couple weeks ago, but I finally got my Nikkor 17-35 2.8D back from the shop (it was sick.... half the innards were replaced), and had just gotten my new Manfrotto 410 geared head. So I was itchin' to get out and give both of 'em a test drive with my D600.
I headed to where I knew I would be able to give the lens a real test.... the state capitol. There's an impressive rotunda and dome right in the middle, and I thought that would be the perfect place to put the lens, my D600, and the geared head to a test.
