Just to be sure I order the correct thing, what is the most Memory this laptop can use, and what info do I need to get the right ones? Would like to get it right the first time. Also is there really good manufacturers you reccomend, and ones to stay away from.
Thinking about ordering from NewEgg. Let me know if there is a better source. THanks!

Get the most memory the machine will take, the largest SSD available, an external DVD, and the ports that you need/want including one for an external monitor.
Correct. RAM is soldered to the board. I got mine with 8 GB and wish I had gotten 16 GB.
FWIW, it is possible to upgrade the SSD. For example, if you got it with the 256 GB SSD drive, you can go bigger. I just upgraded to a 480 GB SSD using a kit from Other World Computing (OWC).
Thanks Mark. That is good to know. We aren't asking too much of it at the moment, so I will see how well it plays after awhile, and will keep that in mind.
