As amazing a place as it is, I've had trouble getting pictures of White Sands that I like.
It's partly because the sand is gypsum- which is a lovely white color, but so "slippery" that many of the characteristics of "normal" sand (i.e. quartz) don't occur.
Things like wind-blown ripples and high dunes.
And yet, it's the uniqueness that appeals.
