The national park is very interesting, I agree.
Trouble is, with your tires thrumming along at 70-80 mph, people see the sign, but look around and see nothing any different than all the other desert they've been looking at, so they just keep thumping down the interstate.
Yet for only an investment of a few hours of their time and the park entrance fee (if you don't have an annual national park pass- the world's best low-priced ticket), a person or family can discover unique treasures.
But no souvenirs! That would be stealing from the world's treasury, and nobody has that right).
If you must have a sample, buy some small pieces from legitimate sellers located outside the national park. They are legal (just get and keep your receipt).
