I got nothin' ...

Too many conflicting/competing elements. Could do some radical stuff @ BG, but even then, scale/balance leave me thinking it'll be anti-climatic, so I'm not sure it'd be worth the effort.

I agree with RustyBug. There is too much clutter in the reflection. You might be able to clean that up but I am not sure the image is compelling enough to justify the effort.

I think I see the interplay of the drop of water at the end of the bill and the concentric rings beneath, but I'm not sure how to pull it off. The reflections that Jim mention are problematic for certain, but even if they weren't there (thinking future shot with clear sky reflected), I'm not sure what to do with the comp, even if I had perfect control over everything.

Maybe if the water was reflecting darker rather than lighter ... ... this one just isn't playing nice with my grey matter quite yet.

Here's a possible crop (quickie selective sharp at rings, bill/head), if that's of any aid to trigger something for someone.

There are several nice aspects of form, but the light is dull and muddy, making it hard to rise to a level above the ordinary.

Thanks again for the feedback.
Karen, I agree.

Aunti said it, the lighting is awful.

My philosophy: Shoot where the good light is, else it's just a record snapshot.

The back seemed to be out of focus or lacking details but after your crop it looks quite good.
