p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Best Mac image viewer?

Hi,

I've been using a new Macbook Pro Retina to edit images, after using windows for years. I am currently using sequential to view images, but I noticed that unless i'm running in the native resolution (2880x1800) The viewer will down scale the images to where you can see alias lines or jagged edges--even when viewing the photo at 100%.

Anyone else with a MBPr care to share what software you use? I can use preview, but for mass image viewing, it's very cumbersome.

I use Lightroom, but did you know you in the Finder you can select an image file, press the spacebar to view and then use the arrow keys to step through the images? I don't know if this would work for you but its pretty handy.

Thanks, I do know that, but I need something a bit more powerful and the ability to quickly zoom to 100%. Kind of like ACDSee for windows.

I use LR4 to edit as well, but it's a bit much to launch it just to go through a folder of pics.

Ever try using Photo Mechanic?
I like it a lot for quit scrolling through and sorting images.. That is is you have a lot of RAM.

PM is good.

If you have Photoshop, what about Bridge?

Lightroom shortcuts, you may already use these but if not they do speed things up.
