I am really hesitant to sell this as I've wanted to own one for a long time but I don't feel right keeping it when it's not getting as much use as I had planned.
If you don't know about this lens please read about it here.
I originally bought this to satisfy my curiosity and with the intent of doing crazy macro shots due to it's ability to do 3x but work has kept me too busy to dedicate time to using this lens.
I will be honest this lens is not easy to use and works best with an FX camera. This lens is really suited for still subjects, jewelry or as originally intended. A person who primarily does macro photography with extension tubes, reversed lenses or diopters would probably feel more at home with this lens.
This is a COMPLETE Medical-Nikkor kit except for the lens cap (unsure if there is even one). It also comes with the optional and rare DC Unit which allows you to use the built-in ringflash without having to be tethered to a power outlet. The DC Unit is powered by 8 D batteries which is why I am also including 8 AA to D battery adapters so you can use normal AA batteries you probably have laying around for your flashes.
Here is what you get:
- Nikon Medical-Nikkor.C AUTO 200mm f/5.6 lens
- 6 Auxiliary Lenses
- Nikon LA-1 AC Unit w/ Strap
- Power Supply Cable
- Flash Sync Cable
- 4 Replacement Bulbs for Ring Flash
- Safety Cover
- Dusting Brush
- Lens Kit Case
- Nikon LD-1 DC Unit w/ Strap & Case
- 8 AA to D Eneloop Battery Adapters
All items are pretty much in mint cosmetic and working condition. All lenses have no scratches, marks, fungus or dents. HOWEVER with that said the cases for the lens kit and DC Unit are pretty beat up on the exterior but still useable.
Looking for $700 via PayPal which covers fees + UPS Ground shipping w/Insurance to CONUS ONLY.
Price is pretty much firm due to condition, rarity and I'm not really desperate to sell, especially with warmer weather possible coming to the Chicago area sometime soon. Or more snow who knows really.
If you need pictures taken with this lens you can view them on my Flickr.
