Took a short trip to Cedar Rapids. Had my 14, 17, 30 and Color-Skopar 50. I ended up shooting everything with my 50.

Let me know what you think of the set.

Thanks!

Nice industrial compositions, but I think all photo's are to blue. What camera, there is a lack of sharpness....

Sigma DP2 Merrill is the ideal camera for these kind of shots. (for me)

thanks sculptormic! The shots were taken right at dusk under heavy cloud cover, the scenes were very blue. I guess I tried to preserve this. I took the blue down a bit in some of the photos, maybe I'll redo them later. Also, there were just quick travel log shots. Didn't have a tripod. This would have helped of course, better than IS! Due to the atmospherics and flat dead lighting, the images look more unsharp than they really are. When I played with contrast and sharpening in PP, they lost the "subdued reality" feel that I wanted to preserve.

Oops, yes, taken with my Olympus E-P1, ISO 200, AWB and adapted C/V Color-Skopar 50/2.5 shot at f5.6.

Thanks for looking and thanks for the comments!
