I thought we are close to the limit of the PATA interface and the next gen cards are moving to a SATA interface. Of course that will require cameras to support them so it won't help us now. Maybe we'll see another round of updates but I don't think UDMA 7 has much headroom left, so maybe they could get a 1100x card out?

Does this listed price include the rebate?

Can attest to the deeper buffer on my 5DIII using these cards. Almost twice the raw shots over my Sandisk extreme 60MB/s cards

WHy don't you just order from B&H? I'll be getting another card for my 1D X from them and I'm in Australia, where they cost 2x as much.

Because you have to add the shipping, 25 % VAT on both the card and the shipping cost. On top of that the custom duty and a fee. So it will be at least 40 % more than the list price at B&H

Wow that sucks. If it's under $1000, we don't have to pay anything and if it's over $1000 we add 10%.

Yes I Always buy at Amazon.uk or Amazon.de. But it's only free delivery to UK and a few countries close to UK. Most of Europe have to pay.
16GB is too small for my taste

Yes some of the rebates are really lame If you buy two 32GB 1000x cards they give you $ 6 rebate. That's $ 3 on each card
On the 16GB cards they give you $ 1,25 on each card in a two pack

A few months ago B&H had rebates of order $40-50 on the Lexar 1000x. I hadn't realise how pathetic these ones were, I'll be giving them a miss.

True, but you do get $45 and $58 instant rebates on the 64GB and 128GB cards. Granted, they're ridiculously overpriced to begin with.

$ 58 rebate is not that fantastic when their normal price is $ 713

One of the rebates is $2.50 and another is $5.00. That's literally meaningless.

That's like when you go to the supermarket and the 99c can of beans is on special for 97c and they honestly expect that will now sway you.

I'd like to know which card reader can support UDMA7 or 150MB/sec transfer rate.

Lexar UDMA USB 3 card reader can support UDMA7 reads but your computer must be able to write at speeds faster than UDMA7.

If you are using a conventional HDD then it will not exceed UDMA7 speeds.
