What on earth has happened? Many titles and text of the buttons are terribly blurry and very difficult to read. It's as if they are now graphics instead of normal fonts.

If you are using Windows 7, you may have made a font substitution to the usual font displayed in the browser.

If not, here's something else to try:
1. Click the start button (Microsoft Logo bottom left of screen)
2. Type into the search box: appearance
3. Click on the link that appears near the top ---> Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows
4. Uncheck Smooth edges of screen fonts
