Anyone have a recommendation for an affordable motel near Yosemite, that also has a good and fast internet connection that I could work from while there?

What is affordable and what is near? All motel will be back in town. There are few hotel near Yosemite call Wawona that is nearby but not inside the park. I think they cost a little over $100 per night. There's a few places in Oakhurst. These are all southern entrance. I'm not sure which entrance you are going to use but google is your friend.

Affordable for me is $50-60/night. Near is less than an hour drive.
I'm in Oakdale for a couple nights right now, and it's looking like in order to stay any closer than an hour drive is going to be out of the "affordable" rate I was hoping for.
I'm thinking Mariposa might be a good option, as well as Oakhurst as you mentioned looks good too, although a little further out than Mariposa.

Thanks Sarsfield, real funny. I was particularly hoping for a suggestion from someone with a personal experience that had to work from a laptop while out there. What Google and a hotel's website call "high speed" can end up being 256k, like a Motel 6 I stayed at last night where the receptionist assured me all rooms had "fast" internet. Not only could I hardly surf the web, at slower speeds than my phone, but I definitely could not do any type of work from a connection like this.

Oakhurst there are several that are around 50-60 and include breakfast, does not take an hour to get to Valley from there or I drive way to fast. Also used lap top no problems there. One we have stayed in several times, cannot remember name right now but it is on the rt hand side beginning of town, gray and blue bldg, great, clean, cheap, free breakfast.
