p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Hi : ) !!! - How should I understand "Demo" ?? | |
Hi,
I have walked several times to a photo busines,
and the demo will be offered next to the new item.
Sometimes the new item is not there, but the
demo is. In the past I have heard an explanation
of some sort, or the other, about a demo item.
The explanation was, that basically, a demo
item sits there until somebody asks about
the functioning of the product. These
are, as I understand it, the only times that a demo
will be used. Whether a lens, or camera, lamp
head, flash, battery back, etc. the demo is only
there to be briefly shown to clients how a product
works or how it is supposed to be used. In my imagination,
it is an item that has not been part of the rent
department in that reputable photo store where I
usually buy from. Neither it is considered a used item,
or part of that department in the store. The Demo is the
kind of item that could be labeled as new minus the little
use given to a product in a period of between one year
and three years! Would I be right in all that I have written
above, or what would you say that a demo is??
Thank you in advance, kind regards,
igmolinav : ) !!!
