Since my update from LR 4.3 to 4.4 I'm having a problem importing photos into my LR 4.4 catalog (no other catalog)
same problem with card or from HDD jpeg or Raw

Could you provide a little more info regarding the problem? Are you receiving an error message? What are the steps you are taking and what happens after each step?

Yes, a error message "could not copy a file to the requested location"

Bingo, problem resolved: go to LR Icon, right click and chose "run as administrator"
