Still trying to get the post mating dance of the Stilts and/or Avocets against a nice BG.

The action is heating up so you'll be seeing more from the pond... I'll try to keep the perspectives fresh.

Can you tell me how many focus points you use in general as I am finding as many out of focus as in focus with my D800 (with both lenses I use for birding).

I most certainly like Shovelers and #1 is darn fine!
#2 for me Kirk the greens in the BG are a bit too dominant, IMO would be neat to pull down the BG saturation and let the Shoveler shine strong!
#3 great IF, love those powder blue legs

The Coot is much like the Buzzard, only a good photograph makes them look good.............and you did

#6 I like a gal with a sense of humor

She's mine!
#7 looking fine Kirk, nice on white and mauves

Your Stilts are cute

Really appreciate your objective eye on greens in #2... I like it as is because the light was that good and that strong for a few minutes on those vibrant spring green reeds. Since you and Tom guided me to richer/deeper colors I lean toward more than less, but I do have to be careful not to overdue it, so thanks again for keeping me honest.
