I still like this image here, Bob .
IMO converting a pic that has large amounts of white snow is difficult at best.
Basically it's because (again IMO) the best way to show white is in color. It too easily becomes grey when converting it.
Then there's the problem of losing texture if a person tries to make the white LOOK white.
All that palaver said, the whites here look a bit grey to me on my monitor .

Many thanks for your most welcome and kind comments and glad you like the bw version. I know what you mean about getting snow white rather than gray in bw conversion. This snow in this image looks very white on my NEC MultiSync PA241W calibrated monitor.

Hi Bob, Charlie has a good point about the snow, I wonder if the embedded profile of Grey Gamma 1.8 has anything to do with it, PS it may not.
