#1 This shot was taken a couple years ago in September (2010) and I just ran through some older pictures and found this. Thoughts? BTW, that is Mount McKinley in the background

#2 This shot was taken at the same time while I hiked around the lake. I am not great but trying to get better at Abstract images and this one just seemed to jump out but I am interested in feedback.

Very nice. Not often will one see the sky around Mt McKinley so clear. I like the second shot, as well.

Both are very nice images Mike. What a lovely view of McKinley in #1. I might crop off about half the sky since there's not much going on there. I like your abstract too with all those colorful ripples.

Hey Mike,

These are wonderful. #1 is a really great shot, love the composition and the feeling of fall in it. I think you did great with the abstract, I like that the leave reflections are coming to peaks in the water, just like trees do... very creative.
