A little something from across the Golden Gate Bridge.

I don't post around here much, but really wanted to share this one.

ya these are cool... I am seeing a lot of the same pose and think you could have shown like maybe 15 photos and been done. After a while it just becomes same old same old.

Thinking the same as Doug.
Mainly in the first location ... could cut 1/2 of the photos and turn that portion a notch higher in quality of work.
Beach location looks good. some good stuff here for sure.

Shot of him with out a smile is not flattering - #11.
I would not deliver #20 unless you do some skin smoothing on the skin of her hands. As is - not flattering to her.

Glad you posted.

Good stuff.. I am with the general mass though. I feel that you can reduce the # and make a bigger impact.

You like to pose the guy with a downward head tilt, which gives him a double chin. Not a flattering look on anyone, but yea. I'll shadow doug's comment as well. overall, pictures have good energy and it looks like you guys had fun.

Great shots man! I love the colors, tones, comps...a lot of good stuff here. I don't post too often, but this is an awesome set man! Keep up the good work!

I'm digging the set! Great look, great location! Just a nice job overall. Too many pics led to Doug's comment about redundancy. It's good to present that many to your clients if that's what they paid for, but not so necessary to post them all here.

By the way, on 11, I find it works better not to shoot that wide open and instead shoot at f/11 or f/13. You're still close enough to the first subject and far away enough from the second subject that she would be out of focus but she would not be a blurry glob. Hope that goes over okay.

But overall, this is just a gorgeous set. Nice job!

Thanks for the kind words, guy. Both in compliments and in critiques.

I agree with some skin smoothing. I'll keep that in mind for their wedding late.

I can definitely see that I used the same face-to-face pose a lot. Unfortunately, it was freezing, and she was virtually shaking, so I had to keep them close. I did separate them in some shots, but only for limited times. The day looked warm, but it was actually quite chilly.

As for his chin, I did notice that. Same with her smashed face in 32b. Things I definitely would have changed had I caught them.

Keep the C&C rolling if anyone has anything else to offer. I take criticism well.

As others have said, I'd ditch about half of these and only show the really great ones.

My favorites are definitely 34 and 40. That stereotypical beach shot is executed beautifully.
