p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Capture One 7 exported images - color shift

Hi,

I am using Lightroom 4.3 and Capture 1 Pro 7. I exported images with LR and C1P7 to view/caption in Photomechanic and the exported C1P7 images look more magenta when viewed in Photo Mechanic with
color management on. The LR exported images look almost exactly the same when exported.

I am exporting as Adobe RGB files at max compression. Just don't know why there is a megenta color shift in the exported images.

In C1P7 Preferences: is setting Rendering Intent to other than Perceptual only for printing or for display on screen?

Images are viewed on a calibrated NEC 27" PA 271.

Thanks.

What is the ICC profile for your Process Receipt in C1? Did you turn on Color Management for both preview and thumbnail in PM?

I set process receipe as Adobe RGB and have Color management turned on for both preview and thumbnail. I also set Default ICC profile if untertermined to "sRGB"

I have never had this issue with Lightroom.

Very strange.

What is your LR color space for export?

Also Adobe RGB.

It's really weird that the color shift is happening. I've tried everything I can think of.

Could it be noise reduction causing the color shift? I shot the image at iso 51,200. I did notice
the image color changes to more magenta when i zoom in on the image displayed on C1 Pro. It
actually kind of matches the exported file a lot more.

Why would a color shift happen when zooming in? I have noise reduction off.

I haven't really compared output since I rarely use LR now. Colors, particularly skin tones, coming out of C1 are indeed different and look better to me. Can you tell any difference side by side before export from both on your screen?

C1 and Lr output do look different. But I'm just wondering why the output file does not match the image I see in C1Pro. Strange.

Does your output look different in Photoshop too?

I don't have Photoshop on my Mac. I have CS6 on my PC. Haven't really needed to use it since I got LR.
