As a person who used to really not want 22 megapixels at all for my weddings, I really like having 22 megapixels now. And for those who shoot sRaw, those files suck compared to the full res files. Drastically cut exposure latitude.

^ I noticed the same thing on mRAW from my 5dII, wasn't much better than a JPG in post.

Well damn. I've literally ONLY shot mRAW on my 5dII, and was planning to do the same with the 5dIII I just got.

I'll have to do a comparison to see if I'm willing to keep going.

+1 Don't do weddings - but do turn out many 20x30's and my D-700 provide more than enuf pixels! Did a bunch of pp on 5D3 captures and printed beautiful 20x30s from them also. If you need near MF capability for huge enlargements, then I would say the D-800 would be the choice.

For myself, the more megapixels the better, so long as image quality holds up.
