I just received my refurb 5D Mark III from Adorama but have found that it has a very prominent white stuck pixel on the preview LCD. It's about 1/4 from the left side in the middle of the screen, so it is quite noticeable whenever I preview an image in portrait mode or when the scene is less than bright in landscape. I've had many Canon and Nikon cameras over the years and have never seen another camera with this issue. I don't think I could ever get used to it.

What course of action do I pursue? Do I contact Canon directly on Monday to see whether they'll repair/replace the screen or send it back to Adorama for a replacement?

Of course Canon will replace the display, but it will cost you dearly.

If you have return rights from Adorama, return it. One failure can lead to another.

Canon does not warranty used cameras bought from a 3rd party.

I would return it to Adorama. Did you also get the 1yr warranty through them? I think they still have a loyalty program that costs very little but adds a 1yr to refurbs.
