Looking through last Fall's travels across the U. S. I discovered this bird who acted as host at the Ponderosa Point turnout in Bryce Canyon National Park. It was obvious that people (tourists) didn't bother him in the least. We were nearly 9000 ft. in elevation at the encounter.
Very nice. This reminds me of a similar encounter that I had many years ago at a pull out at the grand canyon of the Yellowstone. These birds are awesome, I think. Good exposure on these images!
