The last time I worked with a German Shepherd was in October of 2010 and I didn't know nearly as much as I do now, nor was my equipment anywhere near as nice. This is the best I could come up with:
What lens do you mainly use? I find most of my joy shooting animals.
I use a blend of a 35mm f/1.4 / 85mm f/1.2 / 70-200mm f/4 IS (now f/2.8!) pretty evenly, depending on the situation.
