An excellent image, Kee.
No- I wouldn't call it "ripples."

I'd call them amazing examples of water erosion that are a major reason why Death Valley is so fascinating.

I saw somewhere they called this place with certain name, but I could not find the proper name Yes, Death Valley is a special place on earth.
