Hy6 - not so difficult. Just ask DHW. They still make and service them:

http://www.dhw-fototechnik.de/

They also still list the 6008, so perhaps one is available. Of course, if you need, just ask - I have a 6003 practically unused....

I love square and I love the wasitlevel. But it's a personal preference. I absolutely love my RZ67, my Rolleiflex 6003 and 6008 not so much, they'll be on the chopping block soon. I plan on getting a Mamiya 6 and a rolleiflex SL66 to satisfy all my square and WLF desires

Square can always be 'achieved', the years I spent shooting on Hasselblad and the Rolleiflex really burned it into my neurons and something always felt wrong shooting people after I sold the 120 systems. Several current digital cameras will give you the choice to shoot square, and I've gone back to that format for shooting people.

I felt 100% comfortable with waistlevel (it was a pleasure compared to working under a dark cloth on a view camera) but I'm 6'2" and a Hasselblad or Rollei on a tiltall and a seated subject worked better for me than some of my shorter comrades, but thats what apple boxes are for. FWIW the waistlevel effect can be faked pretty well with an articulating LCD.

I am also a big square fan, and love both my Hasselblad and my Rolleiflex, although I am currently experimenting with a Mamiya RZ67.

Hi,

Hasselblad recently announced the cease
of production of its last camera with
square format: the 503 CW

Kind regards,

I never warmed to square, as it seems the most wasteful of all formats. I don't miss it at all, preferring 4:5, 6:7, or 3:4.

And I never liked waist-level finders. I prefer prism finders. My favorite medium format is Pentax 67II, followed by RB67 Pro SD.

Now I don't really shoot film, so the RB is up for sale, and may be joined soon by the Pentax.
