Hi all - I need a good recommendation for a decent calibrator. I received my HP Elitebook last week and have noticed a slight blueish tint to the screen. I've been playing around with the color sliders daily and my OCD is starting to drive me crazy. I plan on using the laptop for all my hobby photography needs and I thought that I finally need to pull the trigger and purchase a calibrator. Can a decent one be found for under $200 that can be utilized for multiple monitors?

Thank you!
Mike

XRite Colormunki Display or XRite i1Display Pro.

Laptop displays are not really that great for editing work.

I use the Spyder 3 with my HP dv6t Quad Edition. The laptop may not be as good as an external monitor, but it works. I can see a definite improvement after calibration, and I don't have trouble matching my display with my Costco poster prints.

I think using the calibrator with multiple monitors will depend on whether the graphics card supports multiple monitor calibrations. I've calibrated the laptop screen alone, and also the HP IPS monitor that I usually have the laptop connected to. The laptop loads the correct profile when I'm using one screen or the other, but I never use both screens at once.

I use the i1Pro on my 8760W with the "Dreamscreen" and am very happy with it.
