A little shoot with my daughter.
Trying out some lighting and processing

First setup
Reflector wouldn't mount on the arm and stand I had so a stool had to do.

1 resulting image, cropped heavily from a D800, those pixels come in handy

Second setup

Processing for these was a lightroom preset tweaked a little

I like the second shot the best. Her expression makes that, but I also like the lighting better than the second set.

Thanks for showing us the setup for your shots and the resulting images. We don't get to see the whole story often enough!

Your daughter looks a little bored in one of the setup photos and who can blame her! She sure is cute... you're a lucky father!

Congratulations on all counts!

Like others have said, thanks so much for showing the setup which also shows your light relationships to the subject. Very helpful and wonderful pictures!

A few posing thoughts/nits:

#1 & #2 - a shoulder turn towards the camera would show better.

#3 Watch that far arm - it is almost hidden.

#4. There's something to clone out - bottom left corner.

Hey Ernie
thanks for looking mate. First setup was a test, I would usually use one light/beauty dish but A fellow poster on Here Ron had a setup like this so I gave it a try, not sure mine worked as well as his though.

Glad the setup images help. Sometimes I get caught up taking photos and forget to get a snap of the setup.
I certainly like seeing how other photographers light their work and what they're using.

Marley couldn't understand why I changed lenses from an 85mm to a 24-70mm so I can get the setup shot in, (why you doing that daddy) in due time she'll hopefully understand.

Thanks for looking
Bud

Hey Jim.
Thanks for taking a look.
It's a weakness of mine watching arms and hands. I get caught up with the face and eyes and sometimes forget about them. I'm getting better lol, at least I'm not chopping them off these days.
Regards
Bud
