Sweet shot Marc. Very well done. My only critique is that the truck looks too bright. lets see what others say?

Hey Marc,

What a cool shot you got here, it really worked out well. For me, I like the lighting on the truck. At least for my eyes, it's brightness is fine because it's obvious it's coming from another light source.

Cool shot. The astrotrac is doing its job with no star trailing. Great composition and exposure and processing. Scott

Marc,
Awesome view of the Orion Belt, Milky Way and Jupiter.
You did a great job with the blending.
My only suggestion would be to lower the foreground exposure (Truck) just a tad.
Best,
Fred

Awesome job with the blending, Marc! The exposure on the truck could be turned down a little bit, but it certainly does not take away from the image at all.

I like it but I would bring down the truck like others said because the com. Since it's a composite shot, watch your edges also. The left edge of the bumper, you can see silhouetting mistakes. If you bring down the brightness of the truck it will look more like it belongs with the sky.

Great shot and I agree about the brightness of the truck as others have pointed out, either way though it is a good capture. Nice work!

Great shot, composition and processing.

As for the truck, it brighter than I would have done it, but still looks great.

Thanks for sharing,

Looks good, but I would probably pull down the exposure on the horizon to the left. The distance of the truck from the light source is hard to guess but the horizon makes it look like the light isn't falling off like it should for a 14mm lens.

Beautiful Photograph Marc! I usually look at the photo before I read any text and I never even thought this was a blend. Nice work!

BTW, I forgot to mention this. The processing on the star field is really superb. I know from experience that it can be difficult to get good star color. It can be even more difficult from a DSLR stack. You really nailed the processing here. Betelgeuse & Aldebaran look great.

Just wanted to add that...
