Calendar-wise, we are right in the middle of nesting season, and the males all dislike each other a lot right now, except...
we just had another 8-inch snowfall last weekend, and what littlefood there was on the ground is covered again, so...
the male RWBBs are re-flocking to feed. We have a hundred on the ground at once. Too many, literally, to take a photograph of. When they leave the ground, the re-flock in the trees and the noise is just amazing.
