Looks like a Hughes 500 to me, a late 60's design, albeit one which spent 20+ years in production for both civil & military applications.

I think the pic was taken in the mid-70s.
The chopper looked very modern then- and to me it still does.
But then, I'm not sure how often the looks of helicopters change. They and winged planes aren't like cars- when every few years the looks are changed whether or not the guts of the things are changed. All that comes under the horrible category of "marketing."
Charlie (Yes, I think 90% of marketing is unnecessary B.S.) .
