Lizards are starting to show up and I always have good time shooting them

These are taken with the 7D paired with a 70-300L, except the last one taken with the 5DIII and a 24-105L behind a thick glass

Oh baby do I love these...the double snake is off the charts...what I wouldn't give for the opportunity! The fence lizard is too cool...does it live on property partitions or resell stolen jewelry

Good for you to have some glass between you and the snakes.

I like them all, Socrate. Specially the narrow DOF in the lizard images.

Do you mind sharing the f-stop and focal length?

Great stuff Socrate. 2 and 5 are my picks. We used to have lots of lizards in our yard, but after the cat adopted us, they seem to have disappeared for some reason.

Skilled manipulation of depth of field Socrate, it's a great effect with these subjects and the last frame is fantastic

Oh boy Socrate, your eye affixation is something special my friend.
#1 such nice light, great color, love the tilt, works good for me
#2 fantastic color, love the textures in this shot, sweet BG
#3 and I thought only the Nuthatch posed like this

#4 for me, less bottom, the lower front area is a bit abrasive looking, the white halo to the right I would work out

#5 what a cool shot, geeez these guys look great paired up like this, great warm golden color, nice presentation on this one
