I had a great day shooting at SNP East 2/20/13- I'm sure many of you heard about our Arizona blizzard that affected most of the state. When I arrived at the park it had just begun to spit a few flakes but within minutes the ground was covered. The rangers closed the loop road but allowed traffic to use the picnic area about 1 mile in. It dumped for about an hour then within 2-3 hours it had pretty much melted off all the trees and cactus leaving patches on the desert floor. Talk about timing!
Here are my favorite six. Comments and suggestions gladly accepted.
Jim- I had forgotten to limit the uploads to four- thanks for the reminder. As for others out there that day, I had two others with me and we only saw one or two others besides those shooting from within their cars. Temp was 31 and then it warmed up after the snowfall. It was blowing sideways for a while though.
