Well, talk about a long wait. It took almost 6 years but finally in the April Africa Geographic my photo of the leaping leopard along with a couple of other shots is being published. Unfortunately the prose to go along with the photo essay had been edited to the point that I didn't recognize it as mine but it is the pix that tell the story at any rate. Many of you have seen these pix but for those newcomers I think you might get a kick out of what waiting for 4 hours and getting about a second of action can mean. My guide, son and I were as giddy as one could be. I suspect this is a shot that has seldom if even been duplicated. Those flying images were taken with a Canon 1DMark2 and a 70-200 2.8 is back in 2007 in Botswana.
