You will LOVE this lens for sure! So much better than I could even imagine; and my expectations were high. Now my problem is that I have even HIGHER expectations of the Nikon 14-24, my next lens.

Comparing to the Samyang, you might get dissapointed by the 14-24...
The shots are fantastic. I think the Samyang 14mm is a great lens and 14mm on fullframe produces very unique shots. I think the only advantage of the N14-24/2.8 is perhaps that 15-24mm range. However, the samyang 14mm gives me the best part of its range with fantastic sharpness and very affordable price.
I only wish it had a filter thread to attach ND filters for coastal landscapes and waterfalls to make the esposures longer to blur water. Does anybody found a clever solution how to achieve longer exposures with the Samyang? Something attached on the back, or holding a big filter in front of the lens?

There are solutions, but prices are ridiculous because they bundle more filters than you'll ever need - at that price, my DIY genes kick in.
somebody made this this 14-24mm DIY holder so if you use some of the parameters from the above kit (145mm filters), you can probably come up with something that works
i shot a lot of waterfalls and I have yet to wish I had a filter. Even when I had a lens that could easily take filters, I didn't have any - and I like in the waterfall capital of the world (maybe an exaggeration, but not too far off)
I have the much more expensive Zeiss 15/2.8 which I like very much, but the landscape-results I see here from the Samyang 14 are really great. And that for a 400 euro lens. That's quite an achievement.
