The other day, I took my daughter out so she could get some driving practice time. I decided to take my camera.
We ended up in downtown Detroit. Feeling a bit adventurous, I swapped pots with her and we turned down a side street.
We saw a lot of burned out homes, along with A LOT of empty lots. We have started to go back on a regular basis as we would like to see every street of the city.

Long story short, here are a couple of shots of some of the burned out homes/buildings.

I would very much appreciate any critiques/suggestions.

Detroit is such a hell hole. I've been there and it looked like the city was aerial bombed by the USAF.

As a relocated Michigander, it saddens me to see these pics. The city seems lost. Be careful driving those streets. The street is the law.

I'll second the be careful remark, you can never tell when you get out who might run from where to get your camera and wallet and sometimes more!

It is a shame to see all this decay. One point, it would have been better without the wires in the images
