Thanks,

Bob

First one more informative / storytelling.

Second one more dynamic / powerful ... "in your face".
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Perhaps an alternate crop with some vignette/light sculpting?

I like Karen's crop, although I'd be tempted to leave a little more of the object of the gaze in the frame.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone - I tend slighlty toward the second version - for some reason the gaze seems more directed in #2 compared to #1. I do think Karen's version would probably produce a better print. My guess is #2 would go soft(er) and flat as is.

I appreciate your time and thought,

Bob

I'll be the contrarian today and say that I like your original #1, Bob, with maybe only a tiny tightening of the crop above and on the right side. I like the context of the huddle and how the open space makes me feel part of the huddle. Always enjoy your rugby shots.

Dennis,

Thanks for commenting, glad you like it.

Capturing the action is fun and a new challenge - the weather made these especially fun. Next opportunity, March 16, know the lads will be in a hurry so they can go celebrate St. Patrick's day (there is a strong Irish connection in the history of the club).

Regards,

Bob
