I know I have fixed this before or so I thought, but I have slept since then.

When i use the sb-700 on camera it shows the focal length say 50mm 1.8 it shows 50mm. I set it up remote and take it off the camera it says FXM zoom. I have tried reading the manual (e-25). Shouldn't it still zoom automatically?

How do I take it off manual zoom?

I'm sure i'm just missing something, but sometimes I need the help of forum members.

yes I have the flash set to the tab on the left that says TTL.

I thought hitting zoom would return it, but guess not. I feel like not real "Genius" not figuring this one out.

Thats from the manual. But it seem to work unless the flash is on the camera...not off camera.

Maybe I was dreaming and you just manually set the zoom when your controlling it via the onboard commander mode?
