Looks real to me. I would guess the flash units would be for cabin photos. For example, like the one shown at the start of the thread. Interesting find. Thanks for posting it.
At least they like Nikon Nano crystal. I'm sure they can get some pretty good shots of UFO's flying by at warp speed, with the big guns. I'm sure they can easily spot-focus on the alien's eye(s) in the cockpit.
Looks like a future photo of "Lens Rental's 2042 mobile Nikon lens rental service pod for space tourist". Tourist dock their Virgin Galactic orbiter at the space mall to visit space pods where they shop and dine after achieving orbit prior to their 90 orbit adventure. Due to weight restrictions for launch, visitors rent their camera gear on orbit; visitors carry camera memory chips during launch and re-entry.

Looks like another fake composite from Photoshop.
Actually the current 200F2.0VR and the 400F2.8VR (with the new 2.0x III TC) was beta tested on the station (or rather - the only time-window for dispatch was before any production samples was available). They (the pre-production beta samples) are still up there. That's kind of cool, since there were some cosmetical changes made after the samples were sent up there, so those lenses are truly unique in many ways. Unfortunately it's very unlikely that they'll be allowed to re-enter. Weight costs almost as much on the way down as on the way up, if you want the cargo protected and intact.
They also hand held the 800mm f5.6 (manual focus) lens to inspect the space shuttles for tile damage after the re entry didsater. Nice to be able to hand hold an 800mm lens for critical applications.
