Not sure whether this is best posted here, or on the gear forum, but I will go with this...
Got a 6D recently, as a complement to my 7D. The primary use for the 6D wasn't going to be sports, but I've been giving it a try shooting HS and youth hoops in the dim dungeons here in Marin County. I would say the 6D provides about 1 1/2 stops better high ISO performance vs the 7D. Huge difference! AF performance is just fine using the center AF point. Frame rate and speed writing to the buffer is glacial compared to the 7D. I wind up getting fewer, but better quality images using the 6D.
