Just curious what you all think of the New Nikon D7100? I have read several Think it is worth upgrading if you currently own a D7000?
Maybe it's worth the upgrade, depending on:
1. What lenses you have
2. What you shoot
3. How big your print
The D7100 is being shipped with the 18-105mm lens, a lens that even the D7000's sensor was showing the weakness of. If you are just going to use lower priced consumer zooms on it like that, then you likely won't see a whole lot of benefit. If you crop a lot AND routinely use a tripod, the extra resolution could come in handy. If you are often making very large prints, e.g. 20x30, you could see a benefit. If you are using low priced lenses, rarely use a tripod, and 99% of your shots end up on the internet, you might be ahead to spend the money on something else. Generally speaking, a camera is not all that important. My thinking is the best way to go is to skip every other generation and concentrate your money on lenses.

Has it been confirmed the D7100 is using the same sensor as th D5200? I've been reading that it is not.
