p.1 #1 · Womens lacrosse-Ohio St vs W&M

First time out this year for lacrosse. Felt good to be outside after a season of bball and gymnastics! W&M lost, but played hard. I experimented a bit, the first three shots are with a 1Dlll and 300 2.8 and 2x extender. The others were with a 7D and 100-400. Suggestions or comments welcome!

Haha, I envy you the nice weather. I just did my first Lacrosse game in 20F temps with snow in the forecast and huge snow mounds in the background of all photos. Fun times.

I like the light and crispness of #4.

1 and 4 are my favorites...wished eyes would have been open in 1 though, she might be squinting due to the sun...can't tell. I am thinking about getting a 1.4 converter for my 300, I don't think I will be purchasing a 400 anytime soon and if I do I will have a converter for it!!

Thanks, yea, not bad for Feb. Temp was mid-40's. Unfortunately, the sun direction means messy backgrounds, but it is what it is!

Thanks for looking! Yes, she is running directly into the sun, and in the series of 6 or 7 shots juggling the ball, she is squinting in all of them! Should get better as the season progresses.
