What has made this interesting to me is the seller's statement that although the lens doesn't AF, "maintenance people tell him that it can change manual focus".
Now, does that mean that he hasn't tried himself to "change manual focus", thus all he can do is go by what "maintenance people" told him ?
What is also interesting is that the lens shown on the pictures appears spotless, not to say "mint".
All kinds of bids on it already. Probably some folks who like to manually focus anyways.
Ebay is a real case study in human ignorance, perfidy and avarice.

Hmm....that's literally 5 minutes away from me....
With regards to the FL 58mm f1.2, I just chatted with Ed Mika, he will not be creating an adapter kit for this lens as it requires machining the lenses mount, thus destroying it's use on older Canon film cameras.
Ed has built custom mounts for several FD and nFD mount lenses, including most of the big teles from 300 to 800, as well as many older fast L series lenses...see the link below if interested, these kits allow for infinity focus and do not damage the old mount; the process can be reversed.
Ed also has a .5mm generic FD-to-EOS brass adapter that simply fits between an EOS body and the old lenses, it does work but you loose infinity focus. I have one of these adapters and use it with my set of nFD Macro lenses; 50/100/200, and it works great for close-up work.
Ed is working on custom mounts for the 100 and 200 macro
