Continuous work at the pond has made for less than desirable BG's, but I did finally find an angle that looks pretty good.

These birds are terrific subjects and quite cooperative most of the time.

Your D800 serves you well Kirk! Excellent detail and colors coupled with a smooth BG. The splash of water gives it a bit more interest as well.
