Where is the best place to get real wood or barnwood for studio? Where you see photo shoots of children and they are standing on some barnwood. I just want to get about 5 ft or so.

Have you tried your local lumber yard or Home Depot (it seems like they have wood for rustic room creations)?

Laminate floor. Just by a box or two and just put them on top if your floor temporarily.

+1
You can get some really nice looking floor, Some of it is actual wood and comes in stunning colors.
I've seen floors that can be rolled up too normally painted in white, A lot of people who shoot newborns etc seem to have them

look around for materials auctions... when we were building our house we bought a bunch of oak flooring for 1.50 a square foot.
