It seems to be facing South West by the position of the Orion belt. I like the way you painted the foreground. I have been experimenting with it as well. Have you tried aiming the light source from the sides? Thanks for sharing this one!

Yes, I try to get as consistent lighting as possible. I often use a propane lantern, which I then walk around side to side to get even light. It's certainly a finesse thing though.
