Clear blue is the normal for Utah, and this place is a stellar example of the contrast between the reds and the blues the state is famous for.

Chris, my intention was to get up to the Cathedral Valley primitive campground because I'd always wanted to spend the night there. But, even in my Jeep I could not get up that tiny pass the other day (at least all alone, going sideways toward the edge...). A little too much snow. Made it 80% of the way, but could go no further. So, I just car camped close by instead.
I agree, the subject is the Temple's and the vivid color and they work just fine against a blue sky which compliments but does not compete.
