Most of the time, we (from the Bay Area) shoot the Bald Eagle from a far distance.
This is the only time, my lucky time, to see it close. We spotted the bald eagle on the pine tree before
sunrise and our camo clothes help us to stay close. Waiting for the sunrise and seeing the
first ray of light shining on the Bald Eagle is my great experience ever. Here are some to share:
Tam these are wonderful and congrats on getting so close to it. But I have to ask, do you have very small eagles or the biggest pine cones I've ever seen...those are enormous!

Thanks Eric. Yep, good question, those pine cones are big. It was the favorite perch of the Osprey when it goes hunting too. . And I guess this Eagle is not fully adult yet since its head still have some brown spot ... We don't see much Bald Eagle here so it's quite hard to know how big they are at certain age.
