I had a lovely vacation on Anegada British Virgin Islands. Deserted beaches, lobster dinners, snorkelling (I don't do underwater stuff) and a few birds to shoot in the "salt ponds". The ponds are 1-2 feet of water with "ooze" as the base. I walked through this stuff. shooting shorebirds and the resident flamingo population. The flamingoes were wiped out many years ago; taken for the feather trade. They were introduced successfully and now number 170 or more birds. This is the most I have seen. A success story. We don't get many these days.

Wow Don... these is a stunning set!
The sanderling really stands out for me... love the composition and shadow cast on the sand.

A very nice set Don. It was nice of the Sanderling to turn it's body to allow good light on it.

A fine set indeed! Like them all but my fav here is # 4. Not usualy a great fan of frames, I like them here too.
