I like them both Lars, My tendancy is to prefer the second over the first, howeever the element of the pier in the first adds story.

#2 is a great classic shot, but #1 shines as it really tells a nice (frigid) story!

Hey Lars,

Man, that's a pretty tough bathing season you have there...

I like both of these, as far as pure landscape #2 is my favorite, but the little dock in the water does add a cool element to #1.

Keep them coming!

Brrr that looks really cold! #1 is a nice humerous shot, but #2 is the better composition.

Very nice! I'm partial to the 2nd, without the little pier, but you composed the 1st nicely, so it works fine.
Killer light and colors.

2 for me as well but both are really beautiful. The cold colour against the red in the sky is great.
Not my idea of fun bathing!

Great pair. I also am partial to the 2nd. In this case, the chunked up ice makes a better foreground than the pier....to my eye.

nice images. like the 2nd from a comp pov.
but feel these are slightly over gradded, the foreground being .5stop too bright.
