I took a different approach with the last image based on feedback from Scott. The last and second image are the same, just processed differently. I am liking the last better.
Thanks Scott. Yeah it was really hard to get this thing processed. I took it in the rain right as we arrived at our camping spot. There was a huge fire in Yosemite that year and the smoke turned the sky a really cool red color. I will include the original file. This would be probably really neat in color if I spent some time on it. I have never really considered this a BW candidate because of the shadow detail that I (poorly) recovered in the upper left.
