I took a different approach with the last image based on feedback from Scott. The last and second image are the same, just processed differently. I am liking the last better.

Oops. Didnt see the second post.
Another beauty. Maybe some haloing around the taller tree on the left, distant mountains (or is that fog)?

Thanks Scott. Yeah it was really hard to get this thing processed. I took it in the rain right as we arrived at our camping spot. There was a huge fire in Yosemite that year and the smoke turned the sky a really cool red color. I will include the original file. This would be probably really neat in color if I spent some time on it. I have never really considered this a BW candidate because of the shadow detail that I (poorly) recovered in the upper left.

Love the third one here Mitch, the last appears to me to have a little too much detail pulled up.

It does look best in color. Too much shadow to try and pull up detail in BW. Thanks for the comment.
